Description
A wall mounting barometer having a dial of 100mm with 3 scales. The inner scale displays an atmospheric pressure from 960 to 1060 millibars, the middle scale from 720 to 790 mmHg and the outer scale from 28 to 31 x 0.1 in. of Mercury. The mechanism is mounted in a plastic casing. Barometers of the aneroid type are commonly used as weather glasses. A low pressure or sudden fall in pressure generally indicates unsettled weather and a rising barometer or high pressure is associated with fine weather.
